Astra Heights : Danger for Beginners
Ryan Tucker
Astra Heights emerged from Houston, Texas over a decade ago and quickly made their presence known in Los Angeles where they currently live, work, and play. Playing their own distinct brand of alternative classic rock, they have won over music connoisseurs all across the industry and country.
The band is comprised of three brothers, Mark (vocals), James (bass), and Timothy Morales (vocals, multi-instrumentalist) with Bernard Yin (lead guitar).
They recorded their debut album for Universal Records with eclectic producer David Kahne (Paul McCartney, The Strokes, Linkin Park) which was released digitally in 2007. After a self-released acoustic EP the following year, they worked with legendary rock producer Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Aerosmith) in 2009 and in 2011, Daniel Ash of Love & Rockets and Bauhaus fame sought them out to remix and release a song and video collaboration.
In 2014, the band teamed up with producer/composer Yoav Goren of Immediate Music, the preeminent producers of Epic Music, and Ryan Tucker of TuckerMix. This collaboration has resulted in a collection of tracks with a bigger and bolder sound than previous Astra Heights releases and aims to please the epic rock lover in all of us.
